Time plan for exchange semester

Stage 1	02.10.2001 - 31.03.2002 in Bernburg Examinations in each case in the first and last week of the official examination period. Those who spend the 2nd semster in Atlanta or Northampton, pass the exams from the 1st semster after the 2nd semester. In February / March trainings abroad for approx. 6 weeks are possible.
Stage 2	02.04.2002 - 30.09.2002 in Bernburg In August / September trainings abroad for approx. 8 weeks are possible 02.01.2002 - 12.05.2002 exchange semester in Atlanta or Northampton From June to September exams from 1st semester and trainings are possible
Stage 3	01.10.2002 - 30.11.2002 Presence period in Bernburg After that: work on dissertation Till 31.03.2003: defence of dissertation

Regulation for acknowledgment of study semester done abroad

The acknowledgment takes place in the individual case by the board of examiners (Prufungsausschu?). Basis for the positive decision of the board of examiners is the delivery of a corresponding statement about successful passing of the demanded subjects on the part of the Course leader of the foreign partner's university as well as the delivery of the separate certificates for the certificate production.
