Bernburg is an industrial and university city in the centre of Sachsen-Anhalt.

Bernburg has a long scientific tradition. Already more than 100 years ago researches in agrarian-scientific area were executed here. Since the establishment of the Hochschule Anhalt in 1993 the education in the scopes of business, economy, country care, ecotrophology and agriculture dominates here.

Basing on the intensive international university cooperation, particularly under use of the long year experiences in the development and execution of so-called integrated courses with double diplomas involving British and French universities as well as international postgraduate courses for Eastern European students, the faculties of economy and agriculture have founded the MBA International Trade course in 1998.

The specialization in direction of international trade could be reasoned with the fact that the areas of trade, logistics and services represent those part of the national economics which will have in future the highest growth potential and manpower reserves and offers therefore also best application chances for the graduates.

This growth will take place mainly in the global frame. Therefore is the MBA course also consistently internationally aligned. This is represented by bilingual methods of study content presentation, the option of the complete study semester abroad in Great Britain and USA, the possibility to optionally make foreign training in eastern European countries or China as well as obligatory lectures in other foreign language.

The further international flair we promise especially due to co-work of the participants from different countries and their communication within the framework of the project work as the significant form of MBA study as well as through involvement of the foreign lecturers.
